The fire that affected the Hautes Fagnes nature reserve has been brought under control, and the region has entered a new phase: that of restoration. About 3,400 hectares have been affected, including 2,200 within the nature reserve. The Walloon Government has established a restoration committee tasked with organizing this reconstruction, which will span many years.
The hotel, for its part, was never affected by the flames and welcomes you as usual. However, we carried out a complete cleaning of our entire establishment before reopening our doors: rooms, linens, fabrics, windows, terraces, exteriors, ventilation systems, and the wellness center (indoor and outdoor). Nothing was left to chance, and we welcome you today under the same conditions as before the fire.
The part of the Fagne that is directly behind the estate has not been affected by the flames and remains a popular walking area for our guests. Several of the unaffected Fagne areas are also accessible to walkers: our team will guide you to the open trails upon arrival.
