Can I add a cot to the room?
Absolutely. Cot can be added to most of our rooms, including the Superior Double Rooms and all our Suites, to ensure your child's comfort. This service is available for an additional charge of €15/night.
What time can we check into the rooms?
From 3 PM, you can check in and access your room. However, if you wish to arrive earlier, we offer an early check-in for an additional charge of €50, allowing you to access your room from 1 PM. This way, you can make the most of your stay from the moment you arrive.
What time should the rooms be vacated by?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. However, if you wish to extend your stay, we offer a late check-out for an additional fee of €50, allowing you to remain in your room until 1:00 PM. This way, you can fully enjoy your stay until the very last moment.
What do you have for breakfast?
Our breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant, La Trattoria Filomena, and offers you a gourmet journey with the colours of Italy from the morning. You will find fresh pastries, sun-ripened fruits, hot specialities, and a wide selection of Italian-flavoured delights.
What children's activities do you offer on-site?
To entertain the younger ones, the DHF offers access to the heated indoor swimming pool (under parental supervision). Children also love our walks with alpacas and miniature donkeys, as well as direct access to family-friendly hiking trails in the High Fens.
