At the gateway to the Hautes Fagnes, Ovifat offers a real Ardennes mountain backdrop: wooded slopes, a fagnard plateau and an authentic winter atmosphere. When the snow is there, you can ski there alpine on friendly trails and Nordic on groomed loops through unspoilt countryside.

• Downhill skiing Gentle to steep slopes, initiation zones for a confident start, ski lifts and more invigorating sections for more fun. Ideal for a first day skiing or to rediscover your sensations without stress.

• Cross-country skiing (Nordic) : loops classical & skating drawn on the plateau fagnard ; gentle terrain, sweeping views and quiet forests - the perfect formula for Zen endurance.

• Snowshoes A fun alternative for a change of pace, with signposted itineraries to enjoy the magic of the snow-covered fens.

Routes & learning

Nature & landscapes

Between beech forests, clearings and snowy slopes in the distance, Ovifat combines sliding sensation and fresh air. On a clear day, the winter light gilds the edges; under the fresh snow, the forest is hushed and silent.
