The fire that affected the Hautes Fagnes nature reserve has been brought under control, and the region has entered a new phase: that of restoration. About 3,400 hectares have been affected, including 2,200 within the nature reserve. The Walloon Government has established a restoration committee tasked with organizing this reconstruction, which will span many years.<\/p>\n

The hotel, for its part, was never affected by the flames and welcomes you as usual. However, we carried out a complete cleaning of our entire establishment before reopening our doors: rooms, linens, fabrics, windows, terraces, exteriors, ventilation systems, and the wellness center (indoor and outdoor). Nothing was left to chance, and we welcome you today under the same conditions as before the fire.<\/p>\n

The part of the Fagne that is directly behind the estate has not been affected by the flames and remains a popular walking area for our guests. Several of the unaffected Fagne areas are also accessible to walkers: our team will guide you to the open trails upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

This period has been intense for us, for our region and for all those who love the Hautes Fagnes as much as we do. We have received extraordinary support from hundreds of you, and we are deeply touched by it.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the firefighters, farmers, DNF agents, Civil Protection members, military personnel, and all the volunteers who fought tirelessly against the flames to protect our region. Without their dedication, none of this would have been possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

We remain deeply attached to these Fagnes that have always surrounded us. They will rise again, as they have always done. But this time, they will need a helping hand.<\/p>\n

For every stay and every wellness way booked, we donate \u20ac1 to the nonprofit organization Les Amis de la Fagne, which has been dedicated to the protection and preservation of the High Fens for decades.<\/p>\n
